저의 실험실은 자기공명 영상으로부터 얻을 수 있는 생체의 해부학적, 기능적, 대사적, 분자의학적 정보를 생명의과학 연구에 응용하는 연구를 진행 해오고 있습니다. 최근에는 표적지향적 진단, 치료법 개발을 위한 분자영상학 연구를 진행하고 있으며 영상 조영제 및 프로브를 다양한 플렛폼 기술을 이용하여 개발하고, 마우스 모델을 대상으로 한 MRI, PET, CT, optical, US 등을 포괄적으로 포함하는 소동물영상기술을 개발 하고 있습니다. 암, 뇌신경계 질환 등의 질병 기전에 관한 연구를 다양한 임상과와의 공동연구를 통하여 진행하고 있으며, 신약개발을 위한 약효평가를 MRI를 비롯한 다기능 분자영상시스템을 이용하고 진행하고 있습니다.
